Here's an idea: an Archive

Just an idea to help avoid future issues. With an archive, there's always a place to put threads, therefore avoiding mass deletes removing the good threads.

I really hope everyone can stop fighting and move on. I hate seeing all this fighting.

I was thinking posts would be saved for like a day after being erased, i mean in case a hacker came along. Usually there's some record of the posts where you could retrieve them.

Did someone retreive that transformer thread by doing that or just reposting what they remember?

I found the Transformer thread on the 3rd page. I guess it wasn't part of the mass delete.

I dont see a third page, is your machine caching the old pages?
The oldest thread I see is dated March 25, 2001 01:39

My pages only go back to the 25th, too (here, I have my hostboard settings go back 60 days). I might be wrong, it might have been page 2, but either way, I went to the oldest thread still left and the Transformer one was still there. If Bear pruned by date, then that's how it was saved.
